About us
The #SAMOKHINBAND Ice Dance workshop was founded in 2009 by Denis Samokhin and Maria Borovikova. Currently, our team consists of nine choreographers and coaches, with branches in Moscow and St. Petersburg
- During its time, the team has trained 24 members of the national teams of Russia, Georgia, Turkey, and Belarus. Participants, winners, and prize-winners of international competitions, Grand Prix stages and finals, European and World Championships, and the Olympic Games
- From 2017 to 2019, we trained the silver medalists of the 2019 World Junior Championships, the bronze medalists of the 2018 Grand Prix Final, and the winners and medalists of the 2018-2019 Grand Prix series
- From 2017 to 2022, we collaborated with athletes from the Georgian national team
- From 2023 to the present, we have been collaborating with athletes from the Chinese national team
- From 2020 to 2023, we have been coaching the 2023 Russian Champions, the bronze medalists of the 2022 Russian Championships, and the winners and medalists of the 2021 Challenger Series
